Gameline Master Module *~ for Atari 2600 ~* VERY RARE *~
Note: Unlike some of the Giant Game sellers on eBay that list hundreds of games at a time, we do not use stock (or no) photos of our items. Note: We shoot close-up, high resolution photos (normally 300 dpi) using a macro focus. The combination of a macro focus and a high resolution camera setting generally exaggerates the look of any defects pictured on the items we sell. Most defects (ie. scratches or chips) are usually less noticeable when the item is actually in front of you than they appear to be in our photos.
Desription of Item(s) up for Auction:

This Auction is for a VERY RARE Complete in the box, 1983 GameLine Master Module by CVC (Control Video Corporation) designed for use with the Atari 2600 Game system.

Besides the box and Master Module, also included in this auction is Owner's Manual, Game Instruction Booklet and 5 Game Line Personal ID Cards.

This module was intended to be used to download games to a Atari 2600 via a phone line. The games were available for a fee and were limited to only a few uses per download. There is not a whole lot of information available regarding these units. The only item(s) up for bid in this auction are those just mentioned..nothing else is included! The above photos are of the exact item(s) up for bid.

 
Condition of Item(s):

The Master Module was plugged into our phone line and Atari 2600 test unit, it appears to function as intended. Being as this module was designed to work with a long defunct online gaming service, we cannot say with 100% certainty that it works as originally intended.

Cosmetically the unit is in Very nice condition, In our opinion it must have been used Very Sparingly if at all, or the previous owner was Very Careful whenever they handled it.

Additionally, bids (including auction winning bids or "Buy it Now") placed by anyone whose feedback rating we feel indicates may potentially pose a problem for us, are subject to cancellation or not being honored by us. While we are grateful for, and respect the brave men and women serving in the US military, we will not ship to military post offices that reside outside of the 50 states that comprise the USA.
Payment Details:
We can only accept PayPal payments. We can accept Credit Cards, E-checks and Bank Transfers through PayPal. Payment must be made within 4 days of close of auction unless prior arrangements have been made! If payment is not made within the required 4 days, item is subject to being relisted on eBay. Note: Payments made by bidders or buyers with non-verified or confirmed PayPal addresses are subject to cancellation and having the item relisted or offered to the next highest bidder.
Shipping Details:

High Bidder will be responsible for a Shipping Charge based upon sending a box that measures 16" X 12" x 12" that weighs 4 pounds from zip code 92404 in California to their Paypal Confirmed address. Shipping costs will be based upon Parcel Post delivery through the USPS.The Gameline unit will be shipped wrapped in bubble wrap and double boxed for safety.

We ship our items via UPS Parcel Post, First Class or Priority mail; we will not use any other shipper. We will always ship your items out as quickly as we possibly can (our normal shipping days are Monday's and Thursdays.) Unlike many of those who sell on eBay, this is a part time job for us. We are normally only in the office Monday-Thursday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm (Pacific Coast Time.) While we have access to a T1 line communications line at our office, we only have a very slow dial-up connection at our home. Accessing the eBay Login System or our Email via dial-up is extremely tedious at best and often times impossible at worst, as such you probably will not ever get a response to an email outside of our normal office hours. Return Policy:

We do not accept returns on video games or systems. Unless otherwise noted, ll of the video game related items we sell have been cleaned, tested and proven to be in working order.

The only circumstance under which we would accept a return is if we mistakenly sent you the incorrect item.
